Alphacool Apex 1 CPU cooler AM5 (13893)

The Alphacool Apex series stands for excellent cooling performance, a modern design, and the use of high-quality materials specifically developed for demanding custom water cooling systems. With the Apex 1, Alphacool presents the first CPU water cooler in the series, combining all of its innovations into a compact and powerful cooler.

The AMD AM5 version of the Apex 1 CPU cooler features an offset cooler base, deliberately positioned off-center on the CPU. This design ensures that the cooling water is injected directly over the AMD CPU’s hot spot, ensuring maximum cooling performance. Alphacool relies on the proven Phillips-head technology and the advanced 3D Jetplate 2.0. This optimized jetplate’s shape increases the water pressure and, in combination with the upstream settling chamber, ensures an even distribution of the incoming water across the jetplate and the underlying cooling fins.

The Apex 1 cooler’s base is made of solid copper, while the connector is made of high-quality brass. Both components are precision CNC-machined from solid blocks of material. An aluminum cover covering almost the entire surface of the cooler ensures stability and a modern look. Fine Apex design details on the top allow the aRGB lighting to shine evenly through, while an additional light element on the right side of the cooler provides diffused light toward the RAM slots.

The Apex 1’s heatsink is specifically designed to cover both the CPU socket and the mounting holes, giving it a sleek, seamless look. Installation remains simple: The cooler is placed on top of the motherboard, while the backplate is secured with screws from behind.
